Inka Crops receives the "Aliado 2020" trophy awarded by the Food Bank of Peru thanks to its participation in the "Platos que Alimentan Esperanza" campaign. In this campaign we have donated 18.7 tons of food, equivalent to 75,000 food rations, with which 625 people will be able to eat for a whole month. Together we have managed to reduce CO2 emissions, since the food has not been incinerated.

Trans fats are artificially created during the total or partial hydrogenation process of oils, so that they have a longer shelf life and are more stable than polyunsaturated oils. Trans fats have effects on lipid levels in the blood, increasing "bad" cholesterol -LDL- and lowering "good" cholesterol -HDL ". This effect on cholesterol is twice as harmful as the effect of saturated fat on it, resulting in clogging of the arteries in the human body and coronary heart disease.
Until very recently, it was not a requirement to include information on trans fats on the Nutritional panel on product packaging, hiding this risk from consumers. However, at the beginning of July 2003, the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) changed the regulations so that such information is consigned in the panel of the Nutritional Table of products from 2006 .
Noting this, Inka Crops Products are free of Trans fats: https://www.fda.gov/food/food-additives-petitions/trans-fat
